Chiapas is located in south Mexico, borders on Guatemala and it is leading region among the rest in the country for growing coffee. Most of the land belongs and is cultivated by the indigenous people.
Coffee grows over 1600m altitude and is picked by hand due to steep terrains. No fertilizers are used. Harvest season is between December and March.
